An almost perfect specimen of village church architecture in its exterior, and in its interior possibly unsurpassed by anything of its kind in England (Illustrated London News, 1870).

A small monastic establishment is believed to have existed at Alkborough just prior to the Norman Conquest and the church tower is thought to be of Anglo Saxon origin dating back to 1052.

Unusually dedicated to a French saint, and linked to the neighbouring St Radegund's Abbey, St Anthony’s church is a Grade I listed building dating back to the 12th century.

St Michael & All Angels has been built on the side of Castle Hill on the Shrewsbury side of All Stretton.

All Saints church has a thousand years of history in one building and there is too much to show on here so a visit is paramount.
