An exceptionally complete Early English parish church. Of special note are the windows; the east lancets form an important composition designed in 1872 by Burne-Jones, Philip Webb and Ford Maddox Brown and produced by Morris & Co. North aisle windows are to Burne-Jones designs again by Morris & Co and the chancel and some of the aisle windows by Kempe in 1903-4.
