St Mary
West Chinnock, Somerset
This a superb high Victorian church in the local ham stone with a fascinating severe saddleback tower and much stained glass by Ward & Hughes.
North Perrott, Somerset
The church has Saxon origins and is a good example of a Perpendicular style of English church architecture. It is dedicated to St. Martin and is of cruciform structure with a tower, supported by four arches, and containing a clock with Westminster chimes, and six bells, which were completely restored and retuned in 2009. The oldest bell was cast in 1786 by George Davis of Bridgwater. The church has been a place of worship since Norman times and was probably rebuilt by Henry Daubeney, Earl of Bridgwater towards the end of the 16th century.
