Cliveden Conservation is a leading expert for the conservation of stone, terracotta, plaster, wall-paintings and the decorative arts. The company operates three workshops in Norfolk, Berkshire and Somerset which are strategically positioned to provide conservation on both a practical and consultancy basis to different areas of the country.


Cliveden Conservation has an extensive network of conservators (including ICON accredited conservators) and skilled craftspeople who can undertake and manage a wide spectrum of conservation projects for a variety of sectors. Cliveden Conservation provides options, strategies and collaborative problem solving to ensure the success of all their projects.


Cliveden Conservation is appointed as the Main Contractor, Specialist Subcontractor or will provide bespoke individual services to both small or large-scale projects. The company is regularly appointed by churches, cathedrals, historic houses, local authorities, architects, specialist contractors and private trusts for the conservation of external and internal architectural features, historic objects, monuments and statuary.


Cliveden Conservation has carried out many prestigious projects and has worked with the National Trust, Historic England, Historic Royal Palaces and Oxford University. The excellent work carried out by Cliveden Conservation has been recognised by several awards including the European Heritage Awards / Europa Nostra Awards, RICS Awards, The Georgian Group Architectural Awards, Hudson Heritage Awards, Oxford Preservation Trust Awards and Natural Stone Awards.


Cliveden Conservation is listed as a recognised IHBC CPD provider.
