Our special projects
We have worked on a range of exciting special projects, engaging in new and innovative ways to help keep churches well-maintained, open and used.
Heritage Stimulus Fund
We were awarded £3.5 million by Historic England to fund urgent repairs to 31 historic local churches to help keep them open and in use by local people.
The funding comes from the Heritage Stimulus Fund, part of the Government's Culture Recovery Fund, and was awarded in two rounds.
Treasure Ireland
Treasure Ireland is a our project to support historic places of worship in Northern Ireland running from 2020 to 2023.
If you are responsible for looking after a place of worship, our project makes it easier for you to look after your church or chapel buildings.
Tourism projects
We have worked on a number of national, regional and local tourism projects, with partners including Visit Wales and Visit England. We're always excited to be involved in projects and campaigns to help promote churches to visitors. If you would like us to get involved in your project, get in touch.
