The closure of chapel buildings can happen for different reasons. In each case, consideration needs to be given to the closure process. What does “closing well” look like?

With multiple chapel buildings in many communities, it isn’t feasible for every former chapel to become a community space, and many chapels will ultimately be reused. What are the physical and cultural challenges in converting these buildings for a different use?
