Creeting St Peter, Suffolk
There was a church on this site when the Doomsday Survey was completed in 1086 and since then people of different Christian traditions have left their mark on the building we see today.
Creeting St Peter church can be found at the end of a no through lane in a peaceful and picturesque setting separated from the main village. The churchyard provides a haven for nature and a place of quiet reflection.
The church itself is built mainly from flint rubble and has many features of architectural interest. Inside the church holds examples of beautiful craftmanship, including the remains of a 15th century wall painting of St Christopher, a 15th century octagonal font, an elaborately carved octagonal pulpit and several Victorian stained glass windows.
