Wesley Methodist Church has a beautiful worship space. The 1812 design was altered in 1906 and 1926, when the street frontage was changed and stained glass windows, the chancel and the James J Binns organ were added. In 2017 the interior was modernised and most of the pews removed, to a redesign by conservation architects Donald Insall Associates.
The vibrant Wesley Church Centre includes a cafe, Fair Trade shop, meeting spaces and toilets, all accessible throughout via ramps and a lift for the disabled.
