Lincolnshire is a rural county in eastern England.
It has an impressive cycle network for those looking for active holidays.
While Lincolnshire does not have a major motorway, there are plenty of easy routes into the county from whichever direction you travel. The majority of roads are A or B roads, allowing you to enjoy the picturesque scenery.
One of the country’s main railway lines skims the county, get off at Grantham and then pick up a smaller train to explore the rest of the county. The region's only airport is Humberside International, 15km west of Grimsby.
