The light interior, with its high ceilings, and large windows with clear glass, owes much to a more than usually sensitive late Victorian restoration of a mainly 15th century building.
The remarkable blue and white ceiling of the nave was painstakingly created in decorative plasterwork by a local craftsman in 1636, for the sum of ten guineas.
